Anyone else get this? "I have a proposition where I can help you promote your art career. I'm running a silent auction for [a charity that benefits her child], and if you donate a piece of your work, you can put a stack of business cards next to it.." Apparently I also get a receipt to get a tax deduction.

It's a friend, so I have to be diplomatic, but I did already tell her that the artist groups in talk about people who make suggestions like hers. I will be passing up this fabulous opportunity to part with my intricate, time consuming work for "exposure."

Happy New Year, clay people. Let's get this community active in 2017. If ever we needed a place for clay creation chat, I think that time is now. I love how clay people support and inspire each other.

I'm six days into a new series of small, derelict buildings. Anyone else got new things happening?

I wanted to be sure the "ceramics" account was made into a community for those who enjoy ceramics rather than just being for one person, so I nabbed it early.
